Halloween Festival Brings Family Fun to Live Oak Park

|

Temple City’s annual Halloween Festival returns Friday, Oct. 31, promising a night of family-friendly fun at Live Oak Park. Hosted by the Temple City Parks and Recreation Department, the free community event runs from 6 to 9 p.m. at 10144 Bogue St.

Family-Friendly Festivities

The Halloween Festival has long been a community favorite, drawing hundreds of residents for a safe, festive evening. This year’s celebration will include game booths, a haunted maze, and an inflatable zone featuring bounce houses for kids. Families can also enjoy arts and crafts stations, themed photo opportunities, and food vendors offering a range of treats.

For those looking to show off their costumes, the popular “trunk or treat” area will once again line the park’s paths with decorated car trunks offering candy and surprises. Organizers encourage visitors to come in costume and bring their trick-or-treat bags for an evening of spooky fun.

A Safe, Free Event for All Ages

City officials emphasize that the Halloween Festival is designed as a safe alternative to door-to-door trick-or-treating, with well-lit areas, city staff on site, and plenty of activities for all ages. The event also serves as an opportunity for neighbors to come together in a festive setting.

Community Spirit at the Park

The festival will take place entirely outdoors at Live Oak Park, which will be transformed into a Halloween-themed wonderland. Visitors can expect seasonal decorations, themed music, and interactive stations run by local volunteers and city staff.

Parking is available on-site and in nearby residential areas. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early, as the event draws large crowds each year.
